Transforming Museum Exhibits - Bringing History to Life

This past year, Exhibitry has been part of some truly remarkable interactive museum projects. From designing immersive experiences to building unique physical installations to creating innovative educational programs, we've demonstrated the power that creativity and technology can have in creating content that appeals to all ages and educates visitors in a new ways.

Here are just a few highlights of what we've accomplished:

Space Suits: Hands-on, yet TouchFree

One of the highlights of our year was continuing our partnership with the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex. We brought the history and technology of space exploration to life through eleven interactive experiences we launched at Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.

Using our TouchFree 3D technology, we designed an exhibit that allowed visitors to explore the features of a space suit without any physical contact or touch screens. By using simple hand gestures, visitors were able to virtually "try on" the the space suit glove and see it from different angles, making for an engaging and interactive experience.

Collaborating with Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame was a thrill for Exhibitry team. Adam collaborated closely with our team and Boeing to create an ultra-realistic replica space suit that met the highest standards of accuracy.

Holographic Narratives: Inspiring Interaction

Our project for the Naval Aviation Museum is a powerful and moving exhibit that gives visitors an inside look at the workday of aircraft carrier crew members. Using our HoloTube technology, we created 6 life-size holograms of real sailors who shared their personal stories of why they joined the navy, where they were from, and the various jobs they perform on the flight deck. The holograms are highly interactive and visitors could ask questions of the sailors and interact their equipment as if they were there in person.

Their stories are informative and inspiring, highlighting the dedication and sacrifices of these young sailors who risk their lives every day to serve their country. The exhibit gives visitors a deeper understanding and appreciation of the hectic and dangerous work they do, and it was an honor for Exhibitry to be able to create such an impactful experience for the Naval Aviation Museum.

Innovative Artifact Displays

We are thrilled to announce that Exhibitry has been selected to create all of the interactive exhibits for the Alameda Creek Watershed Visitors Center. Our team of technologists, artisans, animators, programmers and craftspeople have been working tirelessly to bring this project to life. One of the highlights of the exhibit will allow visitors to explore ancient artifacts in great detail. Visitors will be able to virtually "handle" these artifacts and explore them from multiple angles, all thanks to our HoloTube virtual artifact technology.

One of the unique features of the technology is that it will allow visitors to simulate using some of the ancient cooking tools on display, and even playing music with a virtual versions of instruments that Native American tribes carved from bones. This kind of hands-on experience would not be possible with the actual artifacts due to their delicate and historically important nature.

In addition to the HoloTube exhibits, we will be creating a variety of other interactive experiences using a mix of technologies, including some that we have invented ourselves. We can't wait to unveil this exhibit to the public and give them an immersive and educational experience that they won't soon forget.

Gameplay for Museums

Coming soon. A video game journey through the past, present and future of water conservation and management. Players will help historic characters solve their water distribution problems through choose-your-own-adventure activity and puzzle solving, all while reinforcing Common Core/Next Gen Science standards for students.

At Exhibitry, we understand the challenges that museums and other cultural institutions face when it comes to budget constraints. That's why we strive to deliver more economic value for our clients. For example here we created an engaging in-museum experience, but also adapted the same material for distribution to the public through mobile app stores. This download able game will reach a wider audience and offer an interactive learning experience beyond the physical walls of the museum.
