Alternative Energy - Case Study

Exhibitry worked with Lockheed Martin to create a series of interactive exhibits for their introduction of alternative energy generation technology.

Solar energy exhibit

How does a solar farm work at night? This robotic scale model answered this and other questions posed by the viewer. The exhibit features animated dioramic screens, articulated solar panel models, a cutaway storage tank with an animated interior and an LED light arch representing the sun traveling through the sky.The conceptual animation below demonstrates how the moving solar panel models sync with background animation and LED lighting to present a day to night sequence.

Smart Grid - energy distribution demonstration

Dynamic energy distribution is demonstrated with moving platforms, embedded lighting touch screen interactivity and a narrated dioramic video wall backdrop.

Predictive wind farm technology exhibit

This simulated wind farm utilizes projection-mapped animations that show wind paths and speed, and robot wind turbines that react too the changing wind conditions. The viewer can "ask a question" about how wind farms work. The tiny solar turbine models react by changing speed and direction according to the answer presented.

Wave energy exhibit
