Interactive Spacecraft at Kennedy Space Center
Exhibitry utilized transparent touchscreens and projection mapping technology to create these unique space capsule experiences. The edge-lit acrylic walls of the exhibit blend seamlessly with transparent Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) monitors to create a consistently clear and informative view of the capsules from every angle.
The Interactive Experience
Seven transparent touchscreen displays offer different ways to interact with each capsule. The dynamic screen content is synchronized with video mapping projected on to the capsules in order to point out features and intricate details that one might typically overlook on such a large artifact. This approach allowed for a seamless blend of digital and physical storytelling, enhancing the overall visitor experience
